
The School of Dentistry is currently ranked #1 in National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) funding. Added to that distinction Michigan is also the home of three individuals who hold key leadership positions in the most prestigious research organizations in dentistry. Dr. Stephen Bayne is the President of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR); Dr. Brian Clarkson is the Vice President of the American Association for Dental Research (AADR) and 3rd year dental student, Ms. Erin Ealba, is the President of the National Student Research Group (NSRG).
