Pedodontic Graduate Clinic
The Children's Dental Clinic treats infants, toddlers and adolescent patients' from the ages 1 through 13 years, in an outpatient setting under the Direct Supervision of our Pediatric Dentist Faculty. The Children's Dental Clinic is fully accredited by the American Dental Association Council on Dental Education.
Children are assigned to the clinic depending upon their dental needs. Infants ages 1-3 years may be seen in our pre doctoral, Infant Oral Health Clinic; where parents are taught the benefits of healthy nutrition and the proper hygiene techniques required to promote good oral health.
Children ages 4 through 13 years old may be scheduled into our pre doctoral clinic for routine exams, cleanings and restorative care.
The post doctoral clinic provides treatment for children ages 1 through 13 years that have been referred by a general practitioner or other dental specialties for dental rehabilitation due to extensive restorative needs, fear or anxiety, dental anomalies, or medical disabilities. This clinic provides treatment for patients requiring a multidisciplinary approach to care. We may have a wait list for patients seeking treatment in this clinic.
All treatment is provided on a fee-for-service basis and payment is required at the time of the patient's appointment.
